About Me
I am an old soul with a penchant for second-hand books, letters and lanterns, attempting to overturn mainstream narratives in the 21st century.
Having completed my Masters in Magazine Journalism from Cardiff University, I have worked with publications like Litro, Icy Tales, The Swaddle and have also acquired experience within the social sector. With 4+ years of experience, I am currently working as a freelance professional in the capacity of a content writer, editor (fiction,nonfiction, websites) and brand consultant (for emerging non-profits). I believe in keeping an open mind and engaging in dialogue to unlearn dominant viewpoints and contribute to the acceptance of evolving perspectives. I often find myself oscillating between the lure of the artistic world and the need for responsible journalism.
My writing has found a place in Love in Trying Times, Popshot, Icy Tales, Alt Cardiff and Go With Me (a magazine conceptualised and launched during my time at the University).
