It is imperative to talk about the struggles of the common masses and the triumphs that the patriarchal narrative sweeps underneath the carpet. We are living in an era that will is done taking inequality lying down. No matter how personal or political your fight, each one counts. The defiant acts of a girl sneaking out to the village school when she is supposed to be home, a woman entering the first room of her own, a person negotiating their gender identity, an activist that sits on a hunger strike, a protest that amasses thousands of people, these have the power to transform the nation.
